The Xframe® line of 10 Gigabit Ethernet adapters for server and storage systems are offering support of the following Operating Systems, on which all our products have been thoroughly tested and passed the most stringent compliance tests, like Sun's Solaris Ready program and Microsoft's Windows WHQL certification.

All Major OS Betas, such as Windows 2008 and VMware ESX 3.5, have Neterion Xframe Drivers included in their release. Please obtain these drivers as part of the OS via your respective beta OS vendor programs.

Microsoft Windows Server 2003
(All versions, including Datacenter Edition), WinXP (64bit only) and Windows Server 2008 for x86, x86_64 and Itanium platforms.


Linux 2.4 and 2.6 for PowerPC, x86, x86_64 and Itanium platforms. Neterion Linux 2.6 driver is included under GPL in Linux kernel and major Linux distributions in ver. 2.6.6 and newer.

RedHat AS/ES versions of RHEL4 UP3, UP4, UP5 and RHEL5 include Neterion drivers for PowerPC, x86, x86_64 and Itanium platforms.

SUSE Linux 9 SP3 and SUSE Linux 10 SP1 include Neterion drivers for PowerPC, x86, x86_64 and Itanium platforms.

VMware ESX 3.0.1,/3.0.2 and ESX3.5 (beta) include Neterion drivers for x86 and x86_64 platforms.

FreeBSD (versions 6.2 - 7.0) for x86 and x86_64 platforms. FreeBSD drivers are available upon requests made to support@neterion.com

Apple Mac OS X (10.4.8+) for Intel Xeon and PowerPC G5. Mac OS X drivers are available upon requests made to support@neterion.com

Support for all major flavors of Unix is available either natively in the Operating System, or from your Xframe Adapter vendor - please e-mail support@neterion.com for details.
